When to Pull Out Childrens' Party Dresses

When it comes to children's party dresses, you may not realize how often you'll need a dress and why you should make sure that your little girl has a few party dresses at hands. At most, you should only have two or three dresses for her to wear on special occasions, depending on how fast she's growing. If she's very quickly growing, then opt for one dress whenever she gets bigger, or just wait until she's got some size to her and isn't growing as quickly. However, you still need to know when to pull the dresses out...so, when should you pull out party dresses?

Birthday Parties

Birthday parties are a good time to pull out the party dresses. Let's face it—nine times out of ten, you'll notice that this is when most girls are dressed up in their dresses. It's also the best time to dress up your little girl. Stick to dresses that not only look nice on her, but that you like as well. Make sure that the dress fits her well, but is still comfy. Sometimes the puffy sleeves on children's party dresses (especially those with elastic) can be a bit too tight and be uncomfortable later on in the day, whilst wearing this particular type of dress.

Easter

This is the one time of year when everyone is wearing party dresses of some sort. Old, young, middle aged, and everywhere in between. Make sure that you have a cute little party dress picked out no earlier than a week before Easter, especially if the child is rapidly growing. The last thing that you want is an Easter dress that doesn't fit just because you picked it a month or two too early. And if it—for whatever reason—doesn't fit, you can just return your party dresses for something larger.

Summer Parties

Cookouts...BBQs...whatever you want to call these summer parties, it's still worth it to check into a good old fashioned sun dress. These types of party dresses are not only comfortable, but they're something that she can wear all day long if she so chooses. Plus, they're generally a lot easier to wash than an Easter dress or a birthday party dress.
